Camera application?

Cheese has been unusable for a while: Any chance you guys could replace it with GNOME’s Snapshot app?

There’s a flatpak for Snapshot App

For video capture there’s also SimpleScreenRecorder

sudo swupd bundle-add simplescreenrecorder

I’d suggest adding it to GitHub issues rather than raising it here. It’ll get more visibility by someone that can make that call over there.

This cameractrls app works great with flatpak. Also, with some Pixel phones, USB camera option works really well with Clear Linux. Using cameractrls to select the device ( if more than one camera is connected ), open video feed and test different res, color formats, and frame speed.

Thanks, just like @Businux says, Snapshot is also on Flathub, and it works just fine. My issue regards the tidiness aspect of CL: no reason to bundle an application anymore if it stopped working.
