Geary 3.34.2 is the version currently installed on my Clear Linux laptop. How do I get the new version? Do I have to wait for Intel to update the bundle that installs with CL? Is it better to wait for the bundle or delete the current version and install the flatpak?
geary is part of the gnome desktop. Hence the 3.36 version number. You can do either - there are ups and downs to both choices. Of course, you can also just wait until the bundle is updated.
