I’ve installed Debian on a NUC box but there are incompatibilities when trying to use gparted-LIve to check the filesystems. As an alternative, I would like to use a bootable USB Clear Linux Live Image as a platform for scanning the filesystems on the Debian installation. What utilities are available on the desktop or server Live Images for checking filesystems, malware detection, etc.? Can utilities be installed on a USB Live Image in a persistent fashion?
