Can somebody help with installation of mongodb on clear linux? There are rpm packages available but I’m not even sure where to start, like which package to download.

I would say either build it from source or switch to a supported Linux distribution.

I hope this helps. Just copy the binaries to /local/bin.
Or use docker version.
