I noticed the CL devels are bundling up the Phoronix benchmarks and supporting libraries for us. Meh… 
When I swore myself a mighty oath 
that my new (and expensive) box would not have Windows dragging it down, I went shopping for a Linux distro. I found a benchmarks results article on the Phoronix website comparing several distros, where the tests were run on the same CPU and MB that I used in my build. That, of course, lead me over here. I’m happy!
