Hi there.
Every time I run a scanning program (simple-scan, xsane, and others but I can’t name them now) a window pops up requiring the password for the user account I just logged in with.
“Autentication Required, Authentication is required to manage system services or other units.”
The window does not pop up immediately , but after a while. Probably something to do with the network (my scanner is on the local network), and definitely with polkitd, because after entering the password correctly journalctl spits out a line :
polkitd[796]: Operator of unix-session:2 successfully authenticated as unix-user:maciej to gain TEMPORARY authorization for action org.gnome.controlcenter.user-accounts.administration for unix-process:22252:5576505 [/usr/bin/gnome-control-center] (owned by unix-user:maciej)
I do not want to spend time on entering passwords for an account that is already logged in. Does anyone know what I need to do to remove this inconvenience?
