Clear Linux installer doesn’t offer a reinstall option.

And you said CUDA and other things are still there. So I assume you didn’t format your partition.

Then what do you mean by reinstall?

I had another even older Clear Linux partition that i dropped this one in on top of that i am currently using. I broke X right away and installed with the same thumb drive on top of that solid state partition. When I did that all my SWUPD packages were still installed I had it. I only had to reinstall random non SWUPD packages, such as FFMPEG, etc… The original Clear Linux I was using when I first wrote this post is still on there on another partition. On another physical device. The only thing I am missing is CUDA. …

And some other programs, but that is for a different topic. (firewire, ardour)
