WINE -- Version | stable & development @ How Install Stable or Older Versions?

Hi everyone …

I use AMAZON WORKSPACES that was installed Windows version with WINE and was working fine… UNTIL latest updates on Clearlinux to wine-5.12

Just as matter of fact, on winehq.org on 20-JULY report:
Stable: [Wine 5.0.1]
Development: [Wine 5.13]

That got me by surprise, I never thought that Clearlinux would not use Stable by default.

I need to be able to install the Wine version I want and keep it locked, to avoid any future issues.

Help will be very much appreciated!

I think you can file a bug report on GitHub. I agree it should not install the non stable release.
