I have written a rubygem for Libmagic and would like to test that on my Clear Linux container. But I can’t find any libmagic-dev (like ubuntu), or file (like arch), or file-devel (like fedora/centos/opensuse). What I can find is perl-extras and dev-utils-dev. The dev-utils-dev is 16 gigs in size and I don’t have the patience.
How do I install only libmagic to compile magic.h dependent programs?
