So I recently installed clear linux on a chuwi hi10air tablet. All the other Linux distro worked fine with this machine as I had 0 set-up and only required the touchscreen firmware. On clear linux, I find the UI to be very choppy and there’s no battery indicator, a dead brightness slider.
Any idea on how to get these to work.
This is going to be really difficult for us to debug - we don’t have the hardware. You can help by identifying the missing drivers and firmware for us, that would help a lot.
Well, it’s almost certainly true that if you buy a knock off iPad from a Chinese manufacturer which in the past only made knock off iPod and most Chinese never heard of, you shouldn’t expect any decent performance.
