Scrolling of mouse in browsers goes very slow

Hello,

I installed Clear Linux and all looks really nice and works well, I do have a problem in firefox and chrome when I scroll the mouse it goes very slow and it has like delay on the scroll input. The mouse movement otherwise works normal.

So if I scroll up and down the browser starts moving very slowly down and then like 5 seconds later it starts moving slowly up, like there is a huge lag on only the mouse scroll.

Any ideas?

Bump… There doesn’t seem to be a way to fix this with xinput.

Some general questions to help troubleshoot where the issue may be:

  • What graphics drivers are you using?
  • What graphics hardware are you using?
  • Does this occur in both X11 and Wayland WMs?
  • Anything interesting in journalctl or other logs?
