The vlc bundle seems to be broken.
I’ve tried adding and removing the bundle to no avail.
Hi, I also tried doing the same thing and I get the same result.
Looking inside the bundle, it seems that it has been removed (Remove media content for now · clearlinux/clr-bundles@f1b7b9f · GitHub)
as it hasn’t been updated for a long time.
For now, if you just need it as a player, while waiting for a developer to reply, you can use VLC via Flatpak.
Yeah, Flatpak is your answer: that one works very well.
