Trying to maximise or minimise a window has a 30 sec delay (at least). It does not matter whether it’s a bundled app or flatpak or self-built.
Then I noticed the delay is not there if I double click window bar, it’s only there if I click on the button.

How it is with X11 ? Wayland is far from production quality.

I checked and it works fine in X11, I think it got broken in some CL update for Wayland cos’ I think it wasn’t like that before…
Open a GitHub issue for bug report.
I’m using Xorg not Wayland. But this issue sounds utterly annoying…
Lots of bugs on wayland lately. Some may be inherited. Issues · wayland / wayland · GitLab
It really is annoying, added to it the other bugs in Wayland
- especially since I am rooting for Wayland
to “get there”…

Better stick with X for the time being.

Xorg was a big mess a couple of years ago, lots of code has been cleaned up.
But it works as it’s supposed to.
Wayland is problematic in its own ways.
