When I add an account (google), nothing goes as expected. I solved the issue by:
sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/

well actually this bug was fixed earlier this year.

are you on latest os?

yes, having changed the SSD drive, I reloaded a new system (33980)

sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/

Gnome online accounts problem creating Google account appears to me to be NOT fixed as of 31.05.22. I am using a fresh install of CL build 36410 on a brand new Intel NUC9i7QNX with SSD.

I got it working by using the work-around proposed by others, which is: sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ (of which I know nothing about except it worked).

Also, Mail, calendar, contacts, etc… all appear to be working perfectly in Evolution client.

Have similar issue gnome-online-account was not working and freeze. Follow several “solution” but not solved yet. Some relate to disable ipv6, but not sure
