|CL| + DPDK = perfect fit?

DPDK is very performant networking framework, featuring direct packet buffer queue access reducing excessive syscalls hammering, created by Intel.

Clear Linux is very performant distribution created by Intel. Why not mix them together?

I want to test networking performance of something extremely highload, like Scylla bare metal DB, or F–Stack (nginx revamped to sit on top of DPDK). Maybe we’ll see great performance increase?

And I can find no articles, no guides, and no Phoronix tests regarding this use case. So will try to be a pioneer

Question to Intel engineers: can you recommend me a NIC for this kind of benchmarking? Are there some affordable 40G multiqueue NICs that are ideally compatible with Clear Linux?
