A guy came up on this forum a while back and beat Clear Linux by using Arch with I believe tkg-pds kernel. I tried xanmod Kernel on Clear Linux and managed to beat out his scores by a small margin. So Clear Linux is still on top.

Gentoo uses GCC, not the Intel compiler.

I haven’t seen a faster combination yet.

Are there any drawbacks though ?

Not that I’ve seen. I’ve only been using it for a week so far.
