so I’ve been cluelessly blundering my way through building stuff and noticed my disk space has been eaten by
/var/cache/
which I see is something to do with debugging compiled things.
I’m guessing one of the huge big massive 6gb debug files sitting there is related to my efforts at trying to get pipewire to compile using autospec.
is there any guidance on clearing this stuff out?
this page seems a bit short on info
edit:
so I’ve found this page
https://refspecs.linuxfoundation.org/FHS_3.0/fhs/ch05s05.html
and it says I can nuke it all so I dd.
