Thanks guys. In my opinion (a simple user) I think it’s much better to use forum for discussion and solve problems than using Github.

Hey Bia! How is going? I’m using CL on my desktop only for normal usages like steam games, browsing, audio, and video.

Hey all, Jason from Forbes here.

I’ve been wanting to give Clear Linux a try for months, but was hesitant because I’m just a “normal” desktop user and the installer scared me away. Saw Michael @ Phoronix write about the 2.0 installer and decided to give a test drive finally.

Just installed on my XPS 13 9365. That was easy!

Thanks for launching this. Also, I’m with @Junior – prefer the forum approach instead of GitHub.

Good day! I am Krish from Coimbatore, India, and I have been playing with Linux right from Kernel 1x and the likes of RH/Slackware etc.

After looking at other operating systems for a bit, got back to Ubuntu on my Laptop which is a Lenovo X1 Yoga 3rd Gen.

Read about Clear Linux Project by Intel and was hoping that this effort by Intel will bring linux drivers to ALL their hardware including 4G WWAN Cards, which are currently not supported.

Would like to do my bit in contributing towards the growth and adoption of this flavour actively.

As an opening shot, I do find that not all intel hardware have linux drivers. My 4G WWAN card is still not supported. I will open a separate thread on this one.

Look forward to being a part of this community.

Cheers!
Krish

Hi, welcome!

The project can use lots of different perspectives and skills. Consider what you like or are good at and I bet we can use your help  . Documentation is one area that we can always improve and is easy to get started with. GitHub - clearlinux/clear-linux-documentation: This repository contains the documentation source files for Clear Linux OS.

Besides @puneetse suggestion, you can check our Contributions Guidelines out. It explains how to contribute to an existing or a new software package.
