How to enabling GuC/HuC for the i915 driver?

I’m trying to enable the GuC/HuC firmware loading. I just added: options i915 enable_guc=3 enable_fbc=1 to /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf, however, after rebooting the firmware is still not loaded: # cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_guc_load_status GuC firmware: i915/bxt_guc_ver9_29.bin status: fetch NONE, load NONE What am I doing wrong?
