Install video codecs

I know that Clear Linux isn’t like Ubuntu, for example, that installs proprietary video codecs by default. But I really want to be able to see the videos on my Twitter feed, for example. Is there any way to get video working? What would I need to install, and how would I do it? I understand Linux basics but would need a very step by step guide.

Thank you for pointing me to that thread. I followed the instructions and it worked. I confirmed it by checking the YouTube page for HTML5. But I still don’t see videos running on my Twitter page. Is that a different codec?

I felt like a real programmer watching all of that text fly by in the terminal window!
