Hi!
Microphone not working on my laptop (HP Elitebook 840) and running according to specs:
Bang & Olufsen, dual stereo speakers, 3 multi array microphone
any idea?
running:
OS name: Clear Linux OS; Build ID: 33330
lspci | grep Audio
results in:
Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation Cannon Point-LP High Definition Audio Controller (rev 11)
UPDATE: Output analog sound doesnt work either I just realized. I suppose it could relate to this other question.
In other distros you would add this to /etc/default/grub
snd_intel_dspcfg: dsp_driver=1

Clear Linux doesn’t use GRUB.
Is this a kernel option?

That path doesn’t exist as per doct0rHu reason I assume.

This worked to get the sound going, however this didn’t make the input audio to work so partially solution this
Can you see the correct input device in sound settings?

In settings-> sound showing no options in the input-device field. I even rebooted and nothing
I don’t know. How will you solve this on other distro?
