Hello,

I’m stupefed that your former employer decided to liquidate Clear Linux ;-(

It’s a sad day for Linux and Intel.

Financially, this is are ridiculous savings that have been made there.

Morally, this is a disaster for Intel’s brand image among Linux users.

We wonder how our Intel-branded hardware will be managed under Linux in the future.

This encourages us to buy AMD hardware, which, unlike Intel, does not withdraw from its collaborations with Linux developers…

Yes, this does seem dumb on Intel’s part especially since there is an opportunity to work with new processors, that contain slices of AI hardware. Clear Linux could have marched on with the development of AI working in concert with providing a very solid Linux OS.

I should have known something was very wrong In Clear Linux land when I saw 30 or so posts from Clear Linux when I usually see 1 to 2 a month.
