Systemd-Homed looks like a good fit for Clearlinux satelessness

Hi Just wanted to start a general discussion on Lennart Poettering idea of implementing a user home in a bottle. Obviously this is best for laptop (desktop) users. Seems like a really good fit to Clearlinux’s model of statelessness.

Yes, we’re definitely going to look at it more closely. It appears this may very well be something that we can simply turn on by default. For those working in cloud and data center type of settings, they can continue to use the existing tools.

now with systemd 245 released, what’s the state of CL in regards to systemd-homed? say, i have an arch install with a luks encrypted homed, and i want to migrate to CL. how would i go about that?
