Time not displaying correctly

In both GNOME and KDE, the time always displays as UTC even if I set it to my local time zone (which is MDT - America/Denver). Furthermore, in the Clear installer, all timezones I selected were listed as “UTC-0.” I can manually set the time to the correct hour, but being able to correct my computer’s clock automatically would be nice.

When I try to run timedatectl it actually shows the correct local time. Why isn’t it displaying correctly on the desktop?

Also I found this possibly related GitHub bug: Add UTC Offset to each Timezone · Issue #408 · clearlinux/clr-installer · GitHub

This was fixed by installing network-time-sensitive, though that really should be installed by default.
