ZFS as root partition?

How to install Clear Linux with ZFS as the root partition?

Not supported. None of the clearlinux kernels support ZFS, because it is incompatible with Linux License.

You can use dkms, but, it would be very difficult to get it on a rootfs, since a kernel upgrade would make the system no longer boot.

Yes, i read it completely, I hope Oracle one day relicenses it, maybe Intel can talk to them to relicense it.

Iā€™m pretty sure Oracle is well aware of what everyone wants them to do
