DNF - no enabled repositories

Hello

New to Clear. Only distro that doesn’t crash my system. Semi-competent at linux generally.

I have an issue with dnf.

When trying to install anything, I get the following in the console:

Unable to detect release version (use ‘–releasever’ to specify release version)
Error: There are no enabled repositories in “/etc/yum.repos.d”, “/etc/yum/repos.d”, “/etc/distro.repos.d”.

I had an issue whereby it was reporting some dead repos before and so I’ve disabled those (two of them). Indeed, there are no other repos in the etc/yum.repos.d/ folder, as suggested.

I assume there’s supposed to be at least one there? I’ve removed dnf with swupd, added it again. Done a swupd repair. No joy.

Any ideas?

Sorry if there is a plainly obvious solution.

Welcome. You have to use swupd to install software in Clear Linux
