It seems an option to the RFCOMM module I need to do Bluetooth Serial is not enabled.
# CONFIG_BT_RFCOMM_TTY is not set
Can it be enabled mainline or do I have to compile a kernel?
Also, why isn’t /proc/config.gz enabled?
Thanks

It will be enabled.

To not use additional memory you can find the config at
ls /usr/lib/kernel/config-*

It will be available in 1 or 2 days from linux-5.2.7-816
kernel version
Thank you - I can confirm it is working to connect to a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ using rfcomm.
