1-what is the future plan of this project. especially that this project got a really good potential to become the linux standard os for desktop users, game developers and cgi artists there are things to be done but being backed by intel can result in something huge.
2-why installing nvidia drivers isn’t as easy as it is with ubuntu they get installedwith the os installer ?
You need to ask Ubuntu how they get permission to ship proprietary software.
CL Team has dropped desktop support to the bare minimum, for sure CL will never become “big” and that is also not the business plan. CL is meant to be for VM’s and offer maximum speed with minimum resources.
It’s really just a lab for Intel. And others who need an Intel lab, some of whom may need to occasionally replicate their results in a somewhat “cloudy” production environment.
