I have the same issue. In Gnome Files select a directory and select the item ‘Open in Terminal’ a Gnome terminal opens, but the directory is not changed to the selected directory, pwd = ~
Hello
I fixed the issue by comparing 2 installations of clearlinux.
The last update modified gnome-terminal options.
Open a terminal - Go to Preferences - choose your terminal profile - tab Command -
=> Preserve Working Directory : Always
That’s it all. But time consuming to find.

Thanks, that fixes it. One of the good things of CL was that all this kind of stuff was set up in a decent way out of the box. Anyway, no show stopper…
