Missing Dock How to Reover

The dock on my desktop has disappeared. If I click on activities it pops up but when I go back to the desktop it is gone. How do I recover said dock.

In Software search “dash to dock” click install. If already installed click extension settings. try checking “show on all monitors” and disabling “intelligent autohide”. If that doesn’t work back in sofware click remove, then click install.

Hey @inmanturbo same issue here where I can only see the dock when I click on the Activities icon. Is there a way to pin the dock so it’s always there? I tried searching for ‘dash to dock’ or just ‘dash’ in the Software app but nothing comes up. I am running Gnome 41.0.

this is the default. if you want to change it you will have to to install an extension or tweak it yourself.

Hi @anon91923227 I appreciate the help but I didn’t have time to waste on such things so I moved on to another distro.

dash to dock has been released for gnome 40-41
