Can't find/enable dock

Hello! I’m very new to CL and so far I love it.
There is just one problem. I can’t seem to find the dock.

I’m on the latest version of CL with GNOME 3.36.2.
What I’ve tried is enabling the chrome-gnome-shell. No luck.

One more thing worth mentioning: I can access Tweaks and Extensions - but there is nothing about Dock there.

Any help is appreciated!

Hello Boris.
Click “Activities” at the top left, or press the “Windows” or “Command” key in your keyboard.

Thanks for the fast response!

I really didn’t express myself fully in the initial statement.
What I meant is: Is there a way to make the docker visible at all times? Not only when clicking Activities or pressing the Windows key on the keyboard?

Thanks!

Sorry, my bad
I don’t have an answer for that

Sorry if I didn’t understand the question correctly and I am not sure what you mean by dock.

I don’t have a CL where I can test my answer right now, but I believe it is related to Gnome, and not CL. So I will give it a shot.

I believe it is way better to manage the gnome shell extensions directly in https://extensions.gnome.org/.

Did you try the https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to-dock/ extension. From the site itself you can change the configurations of the extension. You can make it visible by “pressing” the left border with your mouse.

There are many other extensions that can do whatever you want

Thanks for your input!

Sadly, I wasn’t able to install gnome shell. I’ve read that many users have this issue.

Actually, I’ve found a way to download extensions for CL!

I’ve been able to successfully install Dash to Dock! Works perfect.

It just doesn’t work with Firefox. All you need to do is install chrome, download the browser extensions and voila!
