I’m going to give this a go. Ive been read good things about ClearLinux and its fast speed. I’m going to ask some tips and must do’s after installation . I’m waiting on 2 new thumb drives tomorrow,my other one crapped out on me.

getting familiar with building things from source is a must.
If in addition you can learn a few programming language it’d prove to be helpful.
And as a reminder - Clear Linux’s focus is for server installs. Although it does run Gnome, It’s not designed with desktop (and in particular new-to-Linux) users in mind.
