how to simply open a local html file which calls a css file in google chrome or edge? it works in firefox but not in edge or chrome, html is opened but it cannot find the css as the opened file is showned with a path like /run/user/1000/doc/d7df8ccb/ which obviously as not css as my file is loaded from Downloads/
only firefox shows the right path
any tips?

How is this an accepted answer…? There’s no screenshots and these settings don’t exist in my version of Chrome…102.0.5005.61 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)
Searched the settings for “Files and Folders” and “Desktop Folder” neither of which popped up… what?
didn’t find desktop folder anywhere either…
