LibreOffice has Calc.

Thanks. I did not know how to do that.

Gnumeric is superior to Calc in my estimation. One would think the spreadsheet would come in a “Gnome-extras” bundle, or some such.

Depending on what you’re trying to do, possible alternatives are
Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, R, Python

Sure, there are workarounds. I will continue to use them while hoping for Gnumeric. Thanks for mentioning Google Sheets. No doubt worth a look.

Gnumeric has been a convenient (cf. Calc) way for me to prep data for work in R.
