Is there a way I can alien the .deb file as well?
deb packages are just archives. You can extract it and install its components manually.
Be cautious with .deb archives. I’ve seen many of them that can give problems because they sometimes contain permissions on the / root folder that would potentially break your system. This used to happen with the Steam package. having permission 0000 on your root folder is not a cool experience.
