I believe the kernel panic might be caused by using Ventoy to boot the USB stick. I initially encountered the same issue, but once I discovered an alternative method, I never had any installation problems—even on multiple machines (I currently have it installed on three systems).
Additionally, another mistake I made was not running the processor compatibility test.
As a result, I ended up trying to run the distribution on unsupported hardware.
Finally, on GitHub, the development team is very active. Within just a few days or a week, I’ve always been able to find a solution for what I needed.
