I found my webserver down this morning and noticed that the computer running CL did a reboot.
Does CL reboots itself after an major update ? I’m not sure if there was a power cut responsible for that or if CL did restarted itself …

No, Clear Linux doesn’t reboot intentionally. You may see messages regarding the need to reboot when logging in after an update, but it prompts you to reboot manually.

if there was a reboot, you should be able to find out from journalctl
info. Also, uptime
and last
commands may prove useful in determining when a reboot occurred.
Some services may be automatically restarted by clr-service-restart
. Read its man page how you can control which services are allowed to automatically restart.
