How to install vmware tools

Hi,

I have started using this awesome OS but i came across an issue. I am using the desktop version in a virtualized VMWare environment and i cannot install VMWare tools guest additions because the setup cannot find folders like rc0.d/ - rc6.d/
Where can i find those folders or is there a workaround because the setup cannot proceed further.

You can install the os-cloudguest-vmware bundle which has open-vm-tools, the opensource version of VMware Tools.
