New full install fails network test -even though it "sees" it

Hi all , brand new user for Clear Linux here…trying to do a full install (ie destructive) and even though CL advises both wired and wi-fi networks are seen and running, keeps failing the network test when I try to run it in the install dialogue.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you run clr-network-troubleshooter in a terminal and post the results here?

Connectivity seems ok

I am currently connecting to the community forums with the same device
I am unable to proceed with the install thanks to the error

OK, so you definitely have functional internet access. If you can get /root/clr-installer.log, hopefully it will show us what the installer thinks is wrong.

I am no longer able to recreate the error, oops
Edit: Downloading required packs takes a long time even though I’ve not selected any packs. Would like to request a download progress bar for that
