I haven’t found any Oracle Cloud images for Clear Linux in the marketplace or available from the website. Are there any plans to add support for this?
Check the download area, they’re the oci images. I believe they’re already available through Oracle cloud as well, but I’ve never used oci myself.
Thanks. I’ve found the Vmware .vmdk.xz ones on the Clear Linux website. Oracle accepts the .vmdk format so once the .xz file is extracted, can upload the .vmdk to Oracle Cloud to use. Unfortunately, it appears that all custom images uploaded by customers used a higher priced shape that is great CPU and memory than the free tier Linux distribution images available on the Oracle Cloud marketplace.
